Overnight fasting is required.

Protect from light.

Separate cells before freezing by
centrifugation at 2-8° C (2200-2500 rmp, 800-100g) for 5-10
minutes. Transfer plasma to amber polypropylene or polyethylene
transport tubes to protect from light. Alternately, neutral
color
polypropylene or polyethlene tubes can be used if wrappped in
aluminum foil. Freeze the tubes at -10 to -30° C. Ship
frozen.
