10/29/26: NAH Labs no longer have this assay available due to continued supply backorder. Please order HIV 1/2 Antibody Only or Mayo test HVCOP. Turnaround time for Mayo testing will be 3-5 days. This process is expected to last another 30-60 days. Updates will be provided when able.

9/3/26: HIV 1/2 Antibody Only test is now available in-house at NAH. Orders for HIV 1/2 Ag/Ab will be prompted to be changed to HIV 1/2 Antibody Only during ordering. Please proactively communicate to Laboratory if you require one of the limited supply HIV 1/2 Ag/Ab tests be run. Mayo testing also remains avaialble  (HVCOP or HIVSS). Turnaround time for Mayo testing will be 3-5 days.

8/5/26: Due to a national backorder stemming from manufacturing issues/raw materials shortage, NAH Labs have very limited supply of HIV 1/2 Ag/Ab test kits. These will be reserved for exposure protocols. All other samples will be sent to Mayo until further notice (HVCOP or HIVSS). Turnaround time will be 3-5 days. This shortage is expected to last 30-60 days. Updates will be provided when able.
