Urine

*A freshly voided urine sample collected by the clean catch method is the specimen of choice. First morning urine yields the most meaningufl results.

Sterile Urine Container

4 mL

2 hours at 20-25°C, 4 hours at 2-8°C

*SMC: 1 hour at 20-25°C/8 hours at 2-8°C

STAT/ASAP: 1 hour

Transport specimen at 2-8°C, tightly sealed.
